The sister magazine to Etta Every and The May Project, The May Magazine is a digital media platform showcasing music and creative work from Aotearoa and beyond.
Founded in late 2020 by Katie Brown (Etta Every, The May Project) in response to a recognised need for more music and arts media outlets, The May Magazine is a playful, welcoming and inclusive arts and culture website devoted to showcasing local and international talent.
The site features regular artist interviews, think pieces, book reviews and a number of curated playlists, including the Monday Mixtape, which is updated with new Aotearoa releases on Mondays.
Currently it’s on a brief hiatus while Katie completes postgrad study, but it’ll be back in action in the coming months with exciting new content!
